Head of the Laboratory

Wiktoria Wojnicz, Associate Professor

Scope of activity

  1. Non-invasive biomechanical testing of the human body in the scope of normal movement activity by using a kinematic analysis, force plates’ analysis and surface EMG’ analysis (electrophysiologic data)
  2. Identification of kinematic characteristics of robotic devices (mechatronic devices).
  3. Identification of kinematic characteristics and biomechanical characteristics of interaction “human-robot”.

Equipment

  1. Performing measurement in real time (synchronous  way) by using:
  2. Surface EMG system DELSYS (electrophysiologic data) with IMU parameters measurement (Trigno Research System: Delsys Avanti and Delsys Galileo);
  3. AMTI force plates (2 plates)
  4. Motion capture system (optic measurement) BTS SMART DX (14 cameras)

Proposal of cooperation

  1. Testing of the human body movement (kinesiology) by using protocols (clinical protocols) and identification of parameters of movement activity of the body (upper limbs, lower limbs, torso, head).
  2. Testing of the human body movement (kinesiology) by applying additional external devices (rehabilitation devices) and/or medical devices and/or prototypes of medical devices helping to perform motion.
  3. Identification of kinematic characteristics of robotic devices (mechatronic devices).
  4. Postural testing (stability).
  5. Gait testing.
  6. Identification of activity of surface muscles of the human in the given motions.
  7. Identification of kinematic characteristics and biomechanical characteristics of interaction “human-robot”.
