International Christmas Tree
International Relations Office invites students and staff to a cinnamon-scented, singing and beautifully decorated Christmas meeting - International Christmas Tree (Wednesday, December 15th, at 11:00 a.m. next to Hydromechanika building no. 11).
On International Relation Office Facebook fanpage, you can find photos from the Christmas meeting, which took place in 2019 at the Fahrenheit Courtyard in the university’s Main Building. There was a Christmas tree, Santa Claus on a red bike, decorating gingerbread cookies together and… Christmas karaoke.
In 2020, due to the pandemic, the traditional International Christmas Tree did not take place, however IRO staff prepared Christmas greetings in several languages of the world, in the form of a short movie published on the YouTube channel!
This year, the epidemic restrictions also do not allow for the organization of a Christmas meeting in the Gdańsk Tech building, but IRO cordially invites you to the International Christmas Tree in a slightly more modest, but still very festive form.
On Wednesday, December 15th from 11:00 a.m. (until the last barsch), you will be able to meet IRO Staff in the space between the Main Building and building no. 11 of Hydromechnika. Look for a Christmas tree and colorful lights. Be guided by the scent of the festive dishes. Listen to Christmas carols sung in different languages.
The meeting will be held in accordance with the rules applicable at Gdańsk University of Technology related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
