1. SCIENTIFIC AND RESEARCH OFFER

The research works conducted by the Section concern the issues described below. Usually they have practical application in the vast majority of cases

  • Vehicle noise testing (Fig. 5), road traffic noise monitoring. The research is carried out for research purposes, as well as commissioned by scientific institutes (VTI Sweden) and the European Union.
  • Construction of various types of specialized measuring devices (Figs. 3, 4, 6, 7, 8).
  • Car tire rolling resistance test (example in Fig. 2); the influence of tire wear on the rolling resistance; measurements are carried out in laboratory and road conditions.
  • Testing the noise of car tires and road surfaces; measurements are carried out in laboratory and road conditions (Figs. 3, 7).
  • Research on the noise directionality of a rolling tire in laboratory conditions.
  • Research on the noise and rolling resistance of car tires on prototype porous road surfaces in laboratory and road conditions (Fig. 1).
  • Ballistics.
