2. DIDACTIC OFFER

Section of Mechanical Vehicles and Military Techniques conducted and conducts classes for the following diploma courses:

  • Mechanics and Machine Design (1st and 2nd degree full-time stationary studies and 1st and 2nd degree  unstationary studies),
  • Mechatronics (full-time first and second degree full-time stationary studies),
  • Energy Engineering (full-time undergraduate studies, inter-faculty study implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology),
  • Mechanical and Medical Engineering (II degree stationary full-time studies, this is an inter-university course implemented in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology and the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Gdańsk),
  • Transport (full-time undergraduate studies conducted by the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering).

It happens that students, at their request, carry out their diploma theses, constructing fully operational and driving vehicles of various types in teams of 3-5 people. In this way, the following have recently been created:

  • special two-wheeled, single-axle vehicle (Fig. 9),
  • "Mizar" concept car designed to achieve maximum acceleration (Fig. 10),
  • Quad vehicle designed to move in difficult terrain conditions (Fig. 11).
