The structure of the Department of Manufacturing and Production Engineering has changed several times: in the years In the period 1945-1969, it was a cathedral structure, which in the years 1969-1992 changed into an institute structure, and then again after this period, it was transformed into a cathedral structure with research and teaching teams that functioned until the end of 2020. After the establishment of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, the Department was transformed into the Department of Manufacturing and Production Engineering as part of the Institute of Manufacturing and Materials Technology.
