Thrust bearings’ tester
The test rig SON was developed for the evaluation of static characteristics of hydrodynamic thrust bearings of various types. It is used for testing prototypes and fundamental research into properties of the fluid film. It is possible to evaluate deformations of bearing elements, friction torque, bearing temperatures and minimum film thickness.
