Student Day 2023. Concerts and fun

Student Day 2023. Concerts and fun
Traditionally, May is the time of the student holiday - Juwenalia. Many attractions await students of Gdańsk University of Technology, including two large music events: Technikalia and Juwenalia Gdańskie. Among others, such artists as Brodka, Happysad, Jacuś or Kizo are going to appear on stage.

In May, students will be able to enjoy two large music events. The first of them is Technikalia, an event organized by the Student Self-government of Gdańsk Tech. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, 13 May. May 19 and 20 will be another opportunity to celebrate during the Gdańsk Juwenalia, which is organized by six Gdańsk universities in cooperation with the Gdańsk Foundation.

Technikalia 2023

This year's event, prepared by the Student Self-government of Gdańsk University of Technology, will take place on Saturday, 13 May, next to the Gdańsk Tech Academic Sports Center. The event will start at 2 p.m. The program includes: barbecue, "XXL foosball" and the University of Technology Integration of Faculties and Organizations zone. The highlight of Technikalia are the evening concerts. This year's star is Happysad. These representatives of alternative rock are a band well known in Poland. During their almost twenty-year career, their achievements include 8 long-playing albums.

Apart from Happysad, representatives of rap will perform on the stage that day: Jacuś and Young Multi. The concerts on the Technikalia stage will be preceded by performances by the best student bands from the Tri-City.

For organizational reasons, it was decided to change the formula of the event to non-ticketed. For people who have already purchased tickets, compensation is prepared, depending on the ticket prices. Detailed information on the FB profile of the event.

Juwenalia Gdańskie 2023

Juwenalia Gdańskie will provide two days of musical experiences this year. The event is the result of cooperation between the Gdańsk Foundation and 6 Gdańsk universities: Gdańsk University of Technology, University of Gdańsk, Medical University of Gdańsk, Academy of Physical Education and Sport, Academy of Fine Arts and Academy of Music.

The event will take place on 19 and 20 May at the square by the Oliwska Gate.

8 Polish artists will appear on the main stage. On Friday, 19 May, Oki, Michał Wiśniewski, Nocny Kochanek will perform, and the star of the evening will be Brodka promoting her latest album. On Saturday, Kizo, Smolasty, Natalia Szroeder and Łydka Grubasa will play.

A novelty during this year's Gdańsk Juwenalia will be TalkStage - a stage where we will hear interviews with interesting guests. There is also a Beauty Zone waiting for participants, where you will be able to make use of make-up or hairdressing services. There will also be a Student Zone with activities prepared by students of universities co-organizing the event.
