Gdańsk Shipyard "Remontowa" in collaboration with the Faculty

The Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, Professor Mariusz Deja, has signed another cooperation agreement as part of the new Naval Architecture and Offshore Structures MSc programme. Among the industrial partners is Gdańsk Shipyard "Remontowa" S.A., named after Józef Piłsudski.

The cooperation agreement on behalf of Remontowa Shipyard was signed by Michał Habina, CEO, and Marcin Seroka, Board Member for Repairs. Also present at the signing were Professor Wojciech Litwin and Jacek Frost from the Institute of Ship Design.

As part of this collaboration, industry partners will provide academic support for students in the Naval Architecture and Offshore Structures programme. Industry specialists will deliver lectures, propose project and thesis topics, and offer consultations for student assignments. Additionally, the partnership includes plans for professional training sessions and study visits for students.

Gdańsk Shipyard "Remontowa" S.A., named after Józef Piłsudski, has a legacy spanning over 70 years. The company specialises in ship repairs, conversions, and modernisations, as well as offshore structures. It is part of Remontowa Holding S.A., the largest shipbuilding group in Poland, employing 8,000 people.
