$2,500 for top students – American Bureau of Shipping Competition. | Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The competition is open to students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology.

Applicants must demonstrate:

• a strong academic record (no credit deficits and a minimum GPA of 4.0),

• proven interest in the maritime and/or energy sectors,

• leadership qualities supported by involvement in university programs, student teams, or academic clubs,

• a good reputation and recognition from academic staff.

If you meet these criteria, submit your application by email to the Vice Dean for Cooperation, marek.chodnicki@pg.edu.pl, no later than May 30, 2025.

Your application should be in the form of a letter explaining why you deserve to receive the one-time ABS scholarship. You may also attach any supporting documents or references that confirm you meet the requirements listed above.

Please submit the letter as a scanned attachment to the email, along with any additional documents verifying the information included in the letter.

The results will be announced by June 5, 2025.

Additionally, scholarship recipients will be given priority when applying for internships at the company.
