World Shipbuilders' Reunion 2025 - Registration Now Open! | Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The event will be a unique opportunity for generations of engineers, alumni, students, and enthusiasts of the shipbuilding industry to come together. The official opening of the Reunion is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Saturday, 21 June 2025, at Gdańsk University of Technology.

The Reunion is organised in partnership with International Gdańsk Fair – AMBEREXPO and is held as a companion event to the prestigious BALTEXPO 2025 trade fair.

Participant registration is now open via the event website, where up-to-date organisational information will also be published.

The organisers emphasise that early registration is essential for the smooth planning and delivery of the event. It will enable appropriate arrangements for catering, seating capacity, safety measures, and medical services. Only registered participants are guaranteed entry, so early registration is strongly encouraged.

The initiative to organise the Reunion came from within the maritime industry itself – namely, the Shipbuilding Employers' Association FORUM OKRĘTOWE and the KOGA Shipbuilding Fellowship, both of which are official patrons of the event. Following the signing of a letter of intent on 20 January 2025, preparations began in earnest, with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology at Gdańsk University of Technology actively involved as a co-organiser.

The event is also supported by media patron Portalmorski.pl, which is covering the lead-up to the Reunion.
