New Partnership at FMEST: Agreement Signed with Elas-Pol | Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The agreement was signed by Prof. Mariusz Deja, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, and Jerzy Elas, President of Elas-Pol.

The partnership between the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology at Gdańsk University of Technology and Elas-Pol will focus on joint teaching and research initiatives aimed at providing students with hands-on experience and strengthening collaboration between academia and industry. Planned activities include guest lectures, workshops, and research projects involving company experts, as well as internships that will help students develop skills aligned with the needs of modern industry.

The collaboration will also provide support for student research and thesis projects, access to specialized software, opportunities to use the Faculty’s laboratory facilities, and joint publications showcasing the results of collaborative work.

Elas-Pol is a Polish industrial company with more than 30 years of experience in metal processing and custom manufacturing. The company specializes in stainless and corrosion-resistant steel components and precision CNC machining. It also offers waterjet cutting, tube and sheet metal bending, and welding services, enabling it to produce everything from individual parts to complex assemblies.
