Tasks of the Curriculum Committee
- Making changes in curricula, in relation with adjusting them to the current acts, university requirements, and changes planned and recommended by the Dean.
- Participation of the Chairman of the Curricula Committee or of an appointed member of the Committee in meetings with the course representatives, organized upon the request of the Dean, Vice-Dean, Students, and internal and external Stakeholders.
- Considering and assessing the proposed changes in curricula, filed by internal and external stakeholders, described in the Dean's Ordinance no. 10/02/2022 (regarding the rules of introducing changes in the curricula of courses conducted at FMEST) in the form and timeframe specified in the faculty procedures.
- Evaluation of the question sets for diploma exams in 1st and 2nd degree study courses.
- Evaluation and approval of changes to the Subject Sheets introduced by the chairman and vice-chairman of the Curricula Committe.
- Approval of the proposed subjects of diploma dissertations by the chairman and vice-chairman of the Curricula Committe.
- Cooperation with the Task Group for Intenship: evaluation of the general and personal internship programs.
- Cooperation with the Faculty Committee for Ensuring the Quality of Education, participation in the process of creating the Faculty Book of Quality.
- Participation of the representatives of Curricula Committees in accreditation procedures: participation in accreditation meetings.
- Participation in the enrollment process, in the area or preparing the educational offer: preparing/updating the descriptions of study courses, evaluation of materials promoting study courses.

Faculty Coordinator for curricula and ECTS catalogue at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology is Professor Marek Galewski PhD, DSc, ME
Tasks of the Coordinator for curricula and ECTS catalogue
- Cooperation with the dean and curricula committees in matters associated with creation and modification of the study curricula,
- Supervision of work on preparing the study curricula in Polish and in English,
- Ensuring the compliance of prepared study curricula with the current provisions of law,
- The Coordinator is responsible for uploading the study curricula to MojaPG portal and the correctness of filling them with subjects introduced during the study cycle (i.e. indicating the requirement of presenting the subject in the educational offer, updating the definitions of the subjects with the hours dedicated for the student’s own work and consultation, assigning the correct study effects and study groups to them),
- The Coordinator is responsible for defining and entering the data in a subject card, such as the subject goal, content and study effects,
- Cooperation with teachers responsible for creating the content of subject cards, in the area of fulfilling them,
- Cooperation with the appropriate coordinators for given study curricula and with the dean’s office employee in the area of uploading the curricula to MojaPG portal and filling in the subject cards,
- Verification of the content of subject cards in MojaPG portal and making decisions on publishing them in the ECTS catalogue,
- The Coordinator is responsible for conducting partial verification of the study effects on the basis of the analysis of a matrix developed for a given study course and providing the curriculum committee with the results of this verification,
- The Coordinator is responsible for conducting partial verification of the study effects on the basis of the analysis of subject cards, including the compliance of study course effects in a study curriculum and providing the curriculum committee with the results of this verification.
