The ELANORE project recognized at the Smart Development Forum Awards Gala

The ELANORE project (implemented by a consortium including the Gdańsk University of Technology, SINTEF (Norway) and EKKOM (Poland)) has won the Polish Smart Development Award 2023 for the Project of the Future category at the Smart Development Forum Awards Gala in Uniejów, 19-20 October 2023. The award was received at the gala by the project manager, Prof. Jerzy Ejsmont.

The justification for the award reads:

“[...] for the huge potential of the solution, the results of which may translate into intelligent economic development in the future. The aim of the project is to examine how effective the current labeling system is in reducing the environmental impact of road traffic and to propose better solutions. The authors of the project also demonstrate an active approach to promoting and disseminating the importance of the project's benefits for socio-economic life.

Final seminar on project results will be held in January 2024. Representatives of leading tire manufacturers and organizations involved in research and evaluation of car tires will be present.

The ELANORE project is financed under the PolNor 2019 programme from Norwegian and Polish funds through the National Centre for Research and Development.
