"Flying" solar boat, new collaboration opportunities, and the anniversary edition of postgraduate studies in Offshore Wind Energy. Information about these activities from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology at Gdańsk University of Technology has appeared in both industry and local media.

New Opportunities for Students and Researchers

On November 5th, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, Professor Mariusz Deja, and Director of Conoship International Poland, Agnieszka Kościowska, signed a cooperation agreement. This marks the beginning of joint activities in the area of research and development projects, internships and placements for students, as well as the proposal of thesis topics by the company.

"Flying" Solar Boat by FMEST Students

Students from the Student Club "Korab" won second place at the Sardinia Innovative Boat Week, where they demonstrated the capabilities of "Solar", their solar-powered hydrofoil.

Offshore Wind Energy – Postgraduate Studies

In October, the 10th edition of the postgraduate programme in Offshore Wind Energy began. Diplomas were also awarded to the graduates of the 8th edition. Over two semesters, participants gain in-depth knowledge of offshore wind energy – one of the fastest-growing technologies for harnessing renewable energy.
