A New Model of Studying, an Eco-Friendly Christmas Tree, and Recruitment for Postgraduate Shipbuilding Studies – Recent Media Highlights About the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology.

A pioneering national model for postgraduate education is set to be launched as part of the Naval Architecture and Offshore Structures master's programme (delivered in English) at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, Gdańsk University of Technology. This innovative programme integrates a flexible timetable, industry collaboration, and the opportunity to engage in courses and projects taught entirely in English. Designed in response to market needs, the model places the highest priority on addressing the expectations and aspirations of students.

This year, the eco-friendly Christmas tree of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology was crafted by a nine-member team comprising Teresa Butkević, Patrycja Oryl, Krystian Pyszniak, Barbara Tutak, Karolina Samociuk, Gabriela Wołoszyk, and Jolanta Zagórska. The tree's base and decorations, including gears, yachts, and ships, were cut from plywood by our engineers Mirosław Grygorowicz and Piotr Pruszko.

Enrolment has just opened for the one-year postgraduate programme Shipbuilding, offered by the Institute of Ship Design at Gdańsk University of Technology. This is the second edition of the programme.
