On March 10, the Command of Navy Port in Gdynia informed about opening the offers for tender on the support of the operation of minehunter ORP Kormoran.  Within two separate tasks, a servicing agency to repair two important on-board system was to be selected.

The first section of the tender was designed to find a servicing agency to repair the counter-mine system based on Głuptak underwater vehicles. Within the second one, an agent to repair the sound velocity probe Valeport Limited Midas SVP 49373 was to be selected. Finally, the only enterprise to file an offer in both tasks was GUT's Center for Marine Military Technology. In total, the proposed remuneration for both tasks was PLN 150,000 gross, and it falls within the assumed budget.

It is not surprising that only one enterprise placed an offer. GUT's Center for Marine Military Technology is the designer and producer of Głuptak system which is operated by Polish Navy, on board of ORP Kormoran among others. In the nearest future the system will also be deployed on the pair of the next mine hunters type Kormoran II – future ORP Albatros and ORP Mewa - which are currently under construction in Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. shipyard in Gdańsk.
