Department of the International Academic Cooperation invites GUT employees to participate in a training on intercultural competences
Are there any misunderstandings between Polish staff employed at the GUT and foreigners resulting from the language barrier or different cultural context? Probably yes, this is what happens when various cultures, systems of values and stereotypes and predudices associated with them meet.
This is why the Department of International Academic Cooperation would like to invite members of the GUT staff to participate in a training on intercultural competences financed with the means from the National Agency of Academic Exchange (NAWA). The trainees will learn how to communicate better with foreign students and academicians. This will allow us all to handle problems and issues in a better and more efficient way, but also it will ensure that we are all working and learning in a friendly and open environment.
