"ABS SCHOLARSHIP" – Awards for the best students of WOiO/IOiO PG of the 2020/2021 academic year
To be eligible for an ABS scholarship award, students must meet all of the following criteria:
- to be full-time students in the field of Ocean Engineering or Transport and Logistics,
- demonstrate an interest in maritime business and technology,
- deliver the evidence of high academic results,
- demonstrate leadership qualities through involvement with school programs or students’ research clubs and associations,
- be characterized by high culture and be acknowledged by academic staff of the university.
If you meet the above requirements, have a good academic results and you are a committed and diligent student, you can apply for the ABS scholarship by September 26th, 2021. The application must include a CV and a cover letter answering the question "why can I become a scholarship winner of the current edition of the ABS scholarship?” The answer must be justified and documented, preferably on one A4 page. The competition is open to the first-degree and the second-degree students, who have completed at least 2 semesters of studies in the fields of Ocean Engineering or Transport and Logistics. By entering the competition, students consent to the transfer of their data such as name, surname,
e-mail and photo for the purpose of dissemination in ABS publications in the event of winning.
The three best students will be selected by the Competition Committee, each of them will receive a one-time scholarship of US $ 2,500 (gross) and the results of the Competition will be announced on September 30th, 2021.
