Stanisław Ulam’s program – supporting visits of foreign scientists | Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology at the Gdańsk University of Technology

Program offers possibility to invite researchers from abroad, regardless of age, represented field of science or country of origin – including Polish scientists wortking permanently abroad (due to program regulations they may constitute a maximum of 10% of all scholars).

Universities, scientific and research institutes can invite to Poland specialists in their priority scientific fields, who will significantly expand the scientific research carried out by a institution, strenghten didactics or help the institution in preparing applications for prestugious grants.

In the program are possible arrivals, the purpose of which is:

1. conducting scientific research,
2. postdoctoral fellowship,
3. obtaining materials for research or scientific publication.

As a suplement to the above-mentioned activities, the visit may also include teaching.

Stays of foreign scientists in Poland may last from 6 to 24 months> The beneficiaries will receive a monthly scholarship of 10,000 PLN for the duration of the stay plus a mobility allowance, which will cover the costs of organizing the trip.

The call for proposals lasts until May 10^th, 2022, 3:00 p.m.
