Registration for the international Baltic Windustry conference has started. The conference will take place on 8 September at Gdańsk University of Technology. This event is aimed at representatives of industry and science who carry out activities in the field of engineering and innovation.

The organizers are the Center for Offshore Wind Energy of Gdańsk University of Technology and the Polish Wind Energy Association.

– The Baltic Windustry conference aims to show the economic benefits for enterprises from the implementation of the results of research and industrial works. Representatives of Polish and foreign companies will present the added value of participation in R&D projects on specific examples. The conference is addressed to those representatives of industry and science who are active in the field of engineering and innovation. This event is a platform to stimulate industrial and research cooperation in the Baltic Sea region, says Marcin Łuczak, PhD, DSc, Eng. director of the Gdańsk Tech Offshore Wind Energy Center.

Attendees will try to find answers to three questions about industrial research:

  • How to fix the problem? (research session)
  • How to make money from it? (industrial session)
  • Who will pay for it? (administration session)

The conference will be held in the auditorium in the Main Building of Gdańsk University of Technology and will be conducted in English.

Prof. Krzysztof Wilde, PhD, DSc, Eng. rector of Gdańsk University of Technology, corresponding member of the PAS, took the event under the honorary patronage.

The media patron of the conference is balticwind.eu.
