Is your study course associated with transport? Participate in a competition and win €5,000!
Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology invites our students to a meeting with George Smyrnakis, secretary general of WEGEMT (Marine University Association), who will present the methods and conditions of participating in the next edition of TRA VISIONS, a prestigious and most important European competition for students, PhD students and graduates of the study courses associated with widely understood transport. 

The meeting will be held on 24 May 2023 at 12 (noon) in prof. Hilary Sipowicz auditorium (1st floor, building no.30). Spotkanie odbędzie się 24 maja 2023 r. o godzinie 12:00 w Audytorium im. prof. Hilarego Sipowicza (I piętro, budynek nr 30).

TRA VISIONS 2024 Young Researcher Competition is an initiative financed with EU funds, directed at BSc, MSC, PhD students whose study courses are associated with transport. The competition is open for all the students and graduates of EU-located universities. 

The competition is divided into five categories, each dedicated to a specific mode of transport: rail, road, marine, air and cross-modal. The participants can select which mode their project will revolve around. 

The authors of top 3 projects from each category will be invited to Dublin for the Award Ceemony (flight and accommodation covered by TRA VISIONS), which will take place during TRA conference on 15-18 April 2024. The prize pool includes money prizes up to €5,000. 

The deadline for registration and submitting a short abstract of the project is 29 May 2023. More information can be found at the website

What is more, you can participate in weekly webinars during which the students will learn more about the project submission, competition schedule and prizes for the winners.
