Prof. Mariusz Deja Appointed Vice-Chair of the College of Deans of Mechanical Faculties at PUT

Prof. Mariusz Deja, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, has been elected Vice-Chair of the College of Deans of Mechanical Faculties at Polish Technical Universities for the 2024–2028 term.

On November 21, elections were held for the new leadership of the Presidium of the College of Deans of Mechanical Faculties at Polish Technical Universities for the 2024–2028 term. The new leadership consists of:

  • Dr. hab. inż. Hubert Dębski from Lublin University of Technology – Chair of the College of Deans
  • Dr. hab. inż. Mariusz Deja, Prof. PG from Gdańsk University of Technology – Vice-Chair of the College of Deans
  • Dr. hab. inż. Andrzej Burghardt from Rzeszów University of Technology – Secretary of the College of Deans
  • Prof. dr hab. inż. Andrzej Seweryn from Gdańsk University of Technology – Honorary Chair of the College of Deans

The 45th Conference of the College of Deans of Mechanical Faculties at Polish Technical Universities took place from November 20-23, 2024, at Białystok University of Technology.

The College of Deans of Mechanical Faculties at Polish Technical Universities was established in 1997 and initially operated under the name Conference of Deans of Mechanical Faculties. It serves as a representative body for faculties or other organisational units with a mechanical profile within Polish higher education and science.
