Santander Universidades proze for the Students of GUT

Due to cooperation between Gdańsk University of Technology and Santander Universidades, from March 9, 2021 the students of our university can apply for Santander Universidades prize. 25 financial prizes will be awarded to students who show excellent marks, sports or scientific achievements, or social engagement of an exceptional level.

Prof. Andrzej Seweryn - the dean of the Faculty of MEST

Dziekan Andrzej Seweryn
The dean of the newly created Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology of GUT is prof. Andrzej Seweryn, a recognized scientist in the field of mechanical engineering, who has so far been associated with the Białystok University of Technology throughout his career.

Prof. Andrzej Seweryn, PhD, DSc, Eng. was born on 9 November 1962 in Hajnówka. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology. He was awarded the title of doctor by the Scientific Council of IPPT PAS in 1992, and a postdoctoral degree at the Warsaw University of Technology in 1997.

POLISH MARITIME RESEARCH is a scientific journal with a worldwide circulation. This journal is published quarterly (four times a year) by Gdansk University of Technology (Gdańsk Tech). On September 1994, the first issue of POLISH MARITIME RESEARCH was published.

Scientific activity of students

Students Science Clubs that are actively operating at the Faculty of Mechnical Engineering and Ship Technology are open for all student who wish to develop and expand their scientific interests. Participation in a science club is a great opportunity for meeting like-minded people sharing a passion, and for realization of interesting scientific projects.
