The call is addressed to students in the final year of a second-cycle (Master's) degree programme or to PhD candidates enrolled in any year of the Doctoral School.

TRANSPORTER 2026 Job Fair – Meet TSL Industry Leaders and Plan Your Career
The Careers and Alumni Office, together with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, invite students, graduates, doctoral candidates and all members of the academic community interested in the TSL sector to attend the next edition of the TRANSPORTER Job Fair.
The event will take place on 3 March 2026, from 10:00 to 14:00, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology building (No. 40).
The TRANSPORTER Job Fair brings together the academic community and the rapidly growing TSL sector (Transport–Shipping–Logistics), which offers stable employment, an international working environment and wide-ranging opportunities for developing both technical and managerial skills.
Industrial Assembly Systems & Manufacturing Systems Engineering – Apply for the ENHANCE Course
Take part in the upcoming ENHANCE Compact Course “Industrial Assembly Systems & Manufacturing Systems Engineering” and deepen your knowledge of industrial assembly and manufacturing system engineering.
Applications are open until February 28. The course will run from April 1 to August 31.
This online course is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of key concepts and practices in industrial assembly systems and manufacturing systems engineering.
Throughout the course, participants will gain knowledge in areas such as assembly planning and control, manual and automated assembly, business and production strategy, and production system design, supported by real-world industrial examples.
New Partnership at FMEST: Agreement Signed with Elas-Pol
From waterjet cutting and precision machining to pharmaceutical manufacturing and the yachting industry, Elas-Pol operates across a wide range of sectors. The company has now joined the group of industry partners collaborating with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology. The cooperation agreement was signed on 29th January.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Mariusz Deja, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, and Jerzy Elas, President of Elas-Pol.

FMEST Students Take Top Honors in the 'Golden Lion Awards’
Best student club, best research project, student researcher of the year, and student media of the year – students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology at Gdańsk University of Technology took top spots at the prestigious 'Golden Lion Awards'.
The Mechanik Student Club took first place in two categories: Student Club of the Year and Student Media of the Year (as the PGRacing Team). The team also earned second place in the Research Project of the Year category for their Formula Student car, the PGR-08 EVO. Since 2014, the PGRacing Team has been part of the Mechanik Club, designing and building a Formula Student car from scratch each year to compete in international competitions.
A grant for basic research awarded to Dr. Aleksandra Mirowska
Dr. Aleksandra Mirowska from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology is among the Gdańsk Tech researchers who received funding in the ninth edition of the MINIATURA call. Her work focuses on evaluating the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys with complex surface topographies using surface geometry analysis.
The awarded project received PLN 43,835.
The goal of Dr. Mirowska’s research is to identify statistically significant relationships between the surface topography of aluminum alloys and their electrochemical properties. This will form the basis for developing a predictive model capable of quantifying corrosion resistance.
