Apprenticeship program - "Energy for the Future" - edition VI now open for application

Students can now apply for the sixth edition of the Apprenticeship program "Energy for the Future" organized by the Ministry of Climate and Environment, Polish Energy Group Ltd, Polish Electrical Energy Grid Ltd, Polish Oil Concern ORLEN Ltd and Polish Oil and Gas Mining Ltd.

The program is open for application by May 15, 2021.

The grand prize in "The Best Student" category is a brand new car. The grand prize in "The Best Science Club" is 12.000 PLN. The competition is open for 2nd degree course students with high average grades for the last two semesters and exceptional achievements in science, sports, arts, and social activities. The competition is also open for science clubs.

Engineering Job Fair

On behalf of the Students' Society BEST Gdańsk, we would like to invite you to the 12th edition of the Engineering Job Fair. This is an event aimed at facilitating student in their search for job and apprenticeship offers. Each year the Engineering Job Fair has been held on the courtyard of Gdańsk University of Technology and more than 100000 students visited the fair in the span of two days. This year, due to COVID-19 pandemics, the event will take an online form and it will be held on 21-22 April 2021.

GreenMarE conference

On April 20, 2021 between 9:00 and 12:00 Gdańsk will host the first European conference GreenMarE dedicated to "green" technologies, reducing the polution caused by ships, in compliance with the new, global climate policy. Due to COVID-19 pandemics, the conference will have online formula.

The conference is organized by Związek Pracodawców FORUM OKRĘTOWE, Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie S.A. and PORTALMORSKI.PL Sp. z o.o., with the honrary patronage of:

  • The Embassy of Norway in Poland,
  • SEA Europe – The Shipyards' & Maritime Equipment Association of Europe,
  • DNV,
  • President of the City of Gdańsk.

We are faced with serious changes in marine shipping caused by the decarbonization of the sailing. They provoke many questions:
